Barbie 2023
I did not realize how much I needed this movie until I saw it. It captured the double standard for both women and men really well, and América Ferreras speech to Barbie in Weird Barbies house hit me in a way I did not think Barbie would. Overall, I feel like everyone should see this movie, it’s a fucking banger 10/10

I hate this movie with such a passion. It is in no way even close to the book and I hate it. I can give leeway on slight differences from books, I recognize that not everything is gonna be exactly the same. However, it’s like the book and the movie are two different things. I hate this movie.

The Batman 2022
I honestly thought that this movie was gonna be shitty, looking at the trailers and all the publicity. However, wishing the first minute of watching, this movie ripped my attention away from me. From the plot twists, the side plots, and just the overall sense of rawness, I was on the edge of my seat. The acting was crazy good, and the way Batman and the Riddler are portrayed is something I personally haven’t really seen. The whole dynamic between the two was captivating. 10/10 I loved this movie
