Watched for film 100 course, beautiful movie.
The magnificent hindsight effect of being able to view the early transitions of theatre into cinema to this day continues to fascinate my content starved brain. The backgrounds and setting design are not only gorgeous, but seem to carry a deeper layer showing the historical period of German unease this movie was crafted in, as well as early signs of national unease towards governmental stations.
