Such a fantastic movie. The fact that a movie about religious figures getting together to decide a religious figure was so gripping and interesting is a wonderful testament to the phenomenal cinematography, acting, and pacing of this well organized plot. Seeing the nuances of Lawrence’s flawed, yet embracing nature about the variety of the church, and how that was revealed to the audience throughout the conclave was expertly done. I really enjoyed each Cardinals place in the plot, and how…

Ts was highkey buns 💔. This movie spread itself so thin, like it was playing defense the entire time and far too worried to experiment with the beats that worked. Everything about this film felt so sharp, from the last bond movie it’s clear they took their time crafting a well thought out plot with an absolutely unnerving villain that ONLY Javier Bardem could play as. There are some absolutely stellar visual pieces in the film that genuinely might be some of my favorite all time shots. The battle on the skyscraper at Shanghai with the lights illuminating the background, creating bond and his foes silhouette as they have an…
