every frame a painting, both metaphorically and literally. gorgeous animation, and i think i definitely have a preference for the first half over the second half (excluding the final segment). the first two sequences are so dreamlike, it really makes me wish that disney was still doing 2d animation

i personally liked it a bit less than snow white, pretty solid though. i don't really have much to say about it honestly, it just really feels like a movie that a parent would use to scare their kid into listening to them. it'd work on me though that donkey shit was terrifying. gepetto is such a nice old man though :) happiness forever yay
