    basically Nymphomaniac but vintage and with the quiet, atmospheric cinematography of Blue is the Warmest Colour. surprisingly open about desire, women exploring their sexuality, and same-sex attraction for a film produced in the 70s. very obviously written for the male gaze, lingering on tits for just a second too long and normalising creep behaviour around every corner, but I did find it relatable because we all grow up craving this kind of attention and we're not the ones who should be feeling guilty about exploiting it. everyone just wants to be touched innit

    - interesting ideas of consciousness
    - social commentary on feminism, sexuality, socialism
    - relatable main character: craving violence but also sex, and literally being baby
    - tiddies

    It shows how men want childlike looks, innocence, sexuality/wildness, intellect, and naive women who are easy to manipulate.
    But then they also want adult politeness and ease, and cannot handle the impulsivity and liberated mind of a child.

    Moody, slow, atmospheric, celebrating the mundane beauty of life but also has very sad parts. You don't understand what's going on immediately, which I liked. Interesting worldbuilding that correlates with my personal theories about life and death. I would have liked to see more after the end
