Breakfast at Tiffany's 1961
Watched on an impromptu cinema trip after discussing never having seen this in the car, only to realise it was being shown at our local theatre that evening. Went in with no knowledge or expectations, but it's easy to see why it's is such a classic. Hepburn is stunning, her character is captivating, and who is immune to the aesthetics of NYC . Not usually big on romance movies, but this was enough fun with that air of melancholy that it drew me in. Very disarmed by the straight up racism that added Nothing At All to the plot though. What a shame.

Rocketman 2019
Oh, I wanted so much to like this movie. I love Elton's music, but had no real idea of his life history, so was sort of excited for this. Lilo & Stitch 2002
Watched as a post-vaccine cheer up film when side effects kicked my ass into bed with incurable shivers and sucked all my energy. and ya know what it WORKED! I hadn't rewatched it in so long and it still holds up to all my warm happy memories of it. Just a lovely little bunch of misfits and outcasts making a nice little family with their weird dog. Throw in some surfing, nice scenery and great music and it's a masterpiece. Top Tier. Absolutely superb. I love it here
