This movie is a masterpiece and I will never not say that. Watching this again HEALED ME because I watched it completely blind with people my freshman year of college and a lot of them were low key like woah that movie was weird and I was like NO YOU JUST DONT GET IT LIKE I GET IT AAAAAAAAAAA I will never get tired of this movie it’s actually genius. I love it when a movie just has one premise and they stick to it so strongly and explore it from so many angles. This movie is genius and that’s all I will say. Thank you.

The Tale of The Princess Kaguya 2013
A story about youth and wealth and nature and womanhood and life and humanity. I cried. I love it. I started only noticing the baskets because I’m museum brained currently but then, wow. It makes me feel alive. The fact that she would prefer a life of unhappiness where she remembers happiness to a life where she forgets it all. That’s what humanity is.
