  This movie was so visually and emotionally stunning. It had all the awe, whimsy, mystery, emotional depth, and timelessness of some old PlayStation games (think Shadow of the Colossus) and it made me feel weirdly nostalgic watching it, somehow.

  I also adore the ambiguity and room for interpretation. There’s no hand-holding here, and no right or wrong way to see the events and ultimate conclusion of this film. It’s as hopeful or as hopeless as you like. And I think that’s really rare and beautiful in storytelling.

  My god. I’ve never watched a film so absurd and so devastating at the same time. Silliness wrapped up around a powerful, emotional center. I found myself bewildered and overwhelmed that I was openly sobbing about goddamn hot dog hands. But that’s what makes this film so beautiful. An absolutely unique experience; a shame it took me this long to watch it.
