This is like pulp fiction if it were cool. Legitimately didn’t understand most of the plot until I watched a video on it but it wasn’t necessary to thoroughly enjoy the movie - the atmosphere is what makes the movie so incredible. Nothing ever feels quite right and the way the uneasiness culminates is awesome.

My god this show is a knife in the gut. It’s one of the best acted shows I’ve ever seen and the story is so beautiful and raw and real. There’s very few shows that evoke the level of emotion that this show has to offer. It’s la la land level romantic film and I can’t recommend it enough

I Saw the Devil 2010
Jesus christ dude. That was the heaviest and most crushing movie I may have ever watched. It’s very well acted and the overall idea is cool, but it does take a significant knock for straight up being too dark and violent. No other movie have I had to take a break because it was so hard to watch. While it may be important for the characters, it felt gimmicky and often unwarranted. It also has a lot of moments/decisions that just don’t sense and are under the guise of “subverting expectations”.
