I wish I saw this in theaters, but watching with Benny was a treat on its own.
This movie was not only an artistic masterpiece with beautiful animation, but also a solid and thoughtful plot filled with interpretation, feeling, and mystery.

beautiful movie.
kieran culkin’s performance and depiction of mental illness and depression was so realistic, heartbreaking, and warm. he both broke me and healed multiple times throughout this 90 min film. as the movie was ending, i realized how attached i felt to his character, and i didn’t want the film to end. i wanted to know he would be okay.
this movie was beautifully and creatively written with impressive cinematography. really don’t have much negative feedback or criticism for this one.
