The Hangover 2009
It’s style, rhythm and versatile approach to humour is what makes this film stand out in its genre. It achieves what it sets out to without faltering, delivering comedic set pieces that hold up to this day and will continue to do so for a long time. This all being held on the backs of an immensely talented cast who’s brilliant characterisation allow the film all the heart it needs to make you actually care about the narrative inbetween the laughs. While not necessarily being high art, The Hangover is most certainly high entertainment.
