Oppenheimer 2023
If only the McCarthy-ism segments of the film were as half as interesting as the actual building of the bomb, Oppenheimer would not have felt as long as it’s 3 hour runtime. The performances are outstanding, and when it gets moving Oppenheimer is awe inspiring. Unfortunately, so much of that awe is buried between a narrative about Washington politics that doesn’t hold a candle to the actual arms race.
