  Nothing says Halloween like a good ol' slasher film, right?
  I loved how Carpenter went for atmosphere rather than gore, the movie was so gorgeous sometimes I forgot it was about a guy killing nannies without remorse. Because Michael Myers is that, someone without feelings, pure evil.

  From the opening, to the big reveal, this movie was something else. It blends horror with comedy SO good it feels natural. It was fresh, wicked and fun. The references were really good, too.
  And that opening, oh man, the best opening I've ever seen. No doubt, this one goes with the classics. Thank you, Wes.
