actually sort of hilarious my crime film professor had us watch this cause it’s legitimately 10% crime and 90% married couple witty banter coupled with genuinely mind bending amounts of them drinking cocktails. like that’s it. that’s the whole movie. they are pouring drinks and then they are drinking those drinks, and occasionally they ask each other to hand over new drinks. wash. rinse. repeat.

erughhh really fucking hard to rate. cause i was eating it upppp like the whole time (although it is a very slow watch) and i looooooved maria and maria/machine man, and just all the technical and spectacle bits but once i was nearing the end of the movie and the message had really spent it’s time marinating in my head i think it’s sort of stupid 💀💀 like sorry but i really can’t with the idea that all the poor…

what a freak. absolute freakiest freak that ever fucking lived. holy shitballs. entire theater was clutching their pearls, covering their eyes, and gasping in shock in repeated unison. this was one of those movies where even a week after opening night when the lights go up at the end everyone sits up in their seat and looks around the theater to see the faces of who else witnessed what they just did.
