the first time I went to see this movies in theaters a really suspicious man walked in whispering to the voices in his head so I left halfway through. I should’ve stayed and listened to his demons w him because the fact I missed out on this movie for so long is a crime. MIKEY FUCKING MADISON EVERYBODY!!! this film is sexy, heart breaking, hilarious, fun, and anxiety inducing. what a film.

blake lively embodied Lily so perfectly. And Jenny Slate was the cherry on top of this movie, probably her best role ever next to Mona Lisa. It’s a heartbreaking watch mixed with comedic relief, which is an unlikely combo that strangely works for this film.
