The King of Staten Island 2020
this movie was absolutely fantastic. Toward the beginning I was worried that it’d be too depressing but i quickly realized that it was the perfect kind of dark humor vibe, and included the perfect amount of balance. Pete Davidson’s life and story are so interesting and made even more heartfelt when he acts as himself, but in a movie with people and situations he hasn’t really experienced. He’s amazing, deathly funny, so interesting, and charismatic. I would seriously watch King of Staten Island again tonight. Immaculate.

so basically this movie was underwhelming, but surprisingly enjoyable. Firstly I have to say that the whole 80s thing was kind of pointless but kinda fun I guess. Other than that, I love a good female empowerment movie. So so cool and some moments were really moving. However, I think that the plot was a lil extra and it went on for too long- this movie could’ve been 35 minutes shorter and a lot cooler with the fighting and super hero vibes. Overall okay but I definitely wouldn’t choose to watch it again, eh but yay.
