their chemistry was addictive and the film was an awe inspiring adaptation of the book.

it was a movie i enjoyed a lot. despite it being focused on the privileged, white private school boys, the film explored the struggles they faced with the expectations of them to be successful and carry on the family name. It was a movie centred around rebellion and who doesn’t love a bit of that. was really sad towards the end though when one sees no happy end in sight.

Fairytales like this were a very dominant part of my childhood and is very nostalgic. I love movies like this because nobody would ever put so much detail into the minute parts of an animated film these days. It reminds me of a time which may or may not have existed and in a way I like that ambiguity. 
Watching it now, some of the themes are a bit sketchy however they are still enjoyable. The evil stepmother her is still as irksome as usual.
