Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
How anyone can rate this less than 3 stars is criminal!
Was it as good as the first two ? No definitely not, it suffered from an overstretched and elongated story line, whilst also trying a bit too hard with the snide one liners sometimes, meaning it lost the beautiful simplicity that made the first one so compelling.
However you cannot deny that this film is pure entertainment- the action sequences are wild, the chemistry between Jackman and Reynolds is brilliant, along with a plethora of nostalgic cameos. All of this makes it, for me, a very fun and fulfilling third instalment.

Fun and easy summer viewing at its finest.
Glen Powell’s third hit of 2024 has, in my opinion, solidified him as one of the biggest stars of the moment, whilst Daisy Edgar-Jones shows she has what it takes to star in a big Hollywood film.If you want a film with rich and extravagant dialogue, then it’s not for you; but perfect if you want a fun day out!
