The Great Indian Kitchen 2021
The choice of not using any baground score until the very end was very important to drive home the message of the film. The scene showing the successive generations of women through photos while u can hear the cacaphony of kitchen chores stood out to me the most. Clean padam.

Pretty is the first word I thought of when I finished watching this movie. Azhagana padam with azhagana characters. The little details like the thatha saying "inime namma onna porapomanu theriyadhu" the exchanged slippers the archanai part as a symbol for displaying your care for someone etc. these mundane acts holding so much significance and depth to it...... everything about this movie was right up my Ally and I loved it...Meiyazhagans character design has to be one of my all time favourites he is the definition of I believe in love because I'm full of it fr😭 manasu neranjuruchu indha padatha paathu<3
