“Merry Christmas Eve, bitch”
A visceral and beautifully crafted portrait of life. I love movies about society’s underbelly and I love when a film truly immerses me in its world, making me feel like I’m really there and giving me intense feelings of sonder/empathy/whatever you want to call it — this definitely checked both those boxes, and for that, I really enjoyed it.

“I have a complete and utter horror of ugliness, ever since I was very young. I don't know why.”
I found the first half or so of this pretty compelling, then it got pretty wild in a not-so-great way. In hindsight the ending may have seemed obvious, but I was just enjoying the movie, not reading deep into anything, so I honestly didn’t see it coming.
The shock value scenes were definitely a bit much. Talk about a crazy wank…

“You don't care about feminism. Your favorite show is Entourage!”
This is the worst movie I have seen in such a long time, I’m completely baffled that this somehow has a 3.9 average rating on here, guess you really can’t trust Letterboxd ratings for newer films. This was so half-assed and unfunny. Why did the football players wear pads the whole time? Why did teachers curse and act like that in front of students? Why did the rival school literally try to kill the students of the other school? Soooo bad, Jesus.
