Twisters does for the TRUE AMERICAN (real salt of the earth Arkansan-Oklahoman-Kansasan(?)) what Top Gun:Maverick did for the military: glamourizes something I know little to nothing about and makes me want to pursue that occupation immediately. Lee Isaac Chung’s team frames these tornadoes (ON FILM!!) in a way that is both beautiful and terrifying. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Pretty fascinating experience to see my boy GP take a backseat here and play a…

Despite the budget, Rian Johnson always finds a way to move the camera in the most stylish way possible. It's so cool to see someone use a sub-million-dollar budget so well. Really inspiring stuff.

Gets pretty confusing towards the end of the film, but up until that point I was completely engaged. Obviously, the last scene is a total thrill. The reveal is awesome and confirms thoughts I'd been having throughout the second act; a great way to end things.…

Passible, cute adaptation that doesn't try to do too much! It's exceptionally funny in small spurts, but can feel a bit like a slog in the middle.

It's pretty impressive how great the CGI looks here with the monsters, yet so bad with Morgana herself. The budget misused a bit here, but the fight scenes are pretty fun.

Not much to say haha, onto Attack the Block!

I remember watching blockbusters and truly feeling like it wasn't possible to reach that level of success. To make a crowdpleaser that leaves everyone feeling warm inside. Like you made the world a little bit brighter. It all just felt like such a pipe dream.

A lot's changed since then, that's for sure.

It's become tradition to watch a movie that directly inspired the writing process of a film the night of the official table read. It doubles as a…
