As this was the second Robert Egg film I have watched, after the Northman, I had very low expectations. I was extremely wrong to do so. The jump-scares, squirting blood, hinted necrophilia and humongous foreheads made a very disturbing yet incredible horror. There’s a lot I could say about this film, as I have very mixed feelings.
I think the story was solid and got better and more exciting throughout. Those little face fuckers were pretty damn scary and might have even made me question some things 😛.
