The Brutalist 2024
Brady Corbet really said, “What if we took the American Dream, made it unbearably bleak, and then slapped a fake happy ending on it just to rub salt in the wound?” The Brutalist is a slow, methodical gut-punch, building up this towering, oppressive atmosphere for nearly three hours before tossing it all aside in favor of an ending so polished it feels like propaganda.

Beau Is Afraid 2023
the lines between horror and comedy were crossed and I’m still trying to make sense of it…
I didn’t know weather to laugh or scream so definitely see this in a packed theater for the full experience (if you watch this alone you’ll make yourself think you’re sadistic and weird)
This is something you need to go into blind and ready to think. Beau is the combination of anxiety, guilt, trauma, and grief. Take that and mix it in with some…

Novocaine 2025
This man took “walk it off” to a whole new level.
He gets thrown through a window, hung and beat, and shot at point-blank range, and his biggest problem is relationship drama. If I had his condition, I’d simply walk into traffic instead of dealing with responding to a text.Wildly entertaining, completely ridiculous, and proof that pain is temporary, but bad decisions are forever.
body horror/action/rom-com—— idk how else to explain this. the fight scenes were so insane and the kills were SOOO CREATIVE.
You also have to watch this in a packed theather for the full effect (we were all yelling)
