  My opinion of this might change upon seeing chapter 2 but for now as a film in its own right... meh. I see what Costner was trying to do but I feel like the characters were very hit and miss and some scenes could've been cut and it wouldn't make a difference

  The story is pretty predictable but the performances save it. Makes me proud that some of the best scenes in the film are solely comprised of a scouser and a cockney putting on their best chicago accents.

  I thought this was an hour and a half well spent. The start introduces us to the main characters in a lighthearted way with enough detail on each one. the final half hour is full of twists and so much gore that it is both enjoyable, scary and yet somehow hilarious. I thought this movie was one of the best horror flicks going and most certainly the most clever. Think A Horrific Truman Show. I thought it was Amazing.

  Needless to say I'm a sucker for Emma Stone. That aside I'm very impressed by the sheer mixes of dark and lighthearted humor. A great prologue that tells you all you need to know in a hilarious montage of zombie slow motion shots. Then a great plot to introduce the main characters and make you root for them to survive. Then finally a tremendous climax that still leaves me giving it a stand innovation every time I watch it. I like this film and I think its AMAZING!
