I love that it’s completely unambiguous, right from the beginning, that opening sequence is completely disturbing and leaves you unsettled and distressed throughout.   Still grinning from my first watch of this film.

  The Monkey 2025

  I’m so glad I hadn’t seen the trailers for this movie, I watched a 20 second teaser in the cinema, and had heard the hype, but knew relatively nothing going in about the plot or tone. Was absolutely blown away, laughing throughout and audibly gasping. So happy I saw it opening weekend at the Prince Charles, in a packed out theatre. Can’t wait to watch it again whilst it’s on the big screen.
