  I've tried to watch this so many times at different points in my life. It's always the same result: getting frustrated by these two idiots, their moronic ideas and hollow dialogue. I understand this is a very well received "comedy" but I think that's more a testament to being able to relate to two drifters who turn to alcohol when the world doesn't do them any favors. I'm with them there. I'd rather drink a handle of Popov than sit through this entire thing, though.

  People do all sorts of things to avoid just going to a therapist or reflecting on themselves. This woman chose to allow monkeys who might tear her face off to stand in as proxies for all the emptiness in her life. Watch a Kubrick movie if you feel inclined to see this. He's got more to say. He has a film with chimp content too.
