After Hours 1985
I dont know if it was intentional or not but this actually perfectly replicated what it feels like to have a bad dream. The slightly off-putting liminal setpieces, the odd recurring characters, the sense of wanting to be somewhere else but for some reason always circling back in on yourself...such an uncanny way of capturing that feeling. This feels less like a comedy more like a horror movie. 10/10 would never watch again.

Only got about 30 minutes in. Not one line or joke made me even want to laugh. And what was with those big lebowski esque psychedelic sequences? Drugs weren't even involed so...what the hell? Yeah no thanks, I have better things to do with my time. Jesus Christ.
