Been looking sideward to this for a while after loving Godzilla Minus One. This was a bit of a let down generally in comparison sadly. Felt a lot lower budget in both the acting and the CGI. The story was standard if a little boring. A lot of time is spent talking about what is happening/going to happen rather than stuff actually happening. Some of the dialogue is a little cringeworthy too. Some cool bits but overall way below what I was expecting.

Battle of Britain 1969
Not enough context to be a good war film, not enough narrative to be a good film. This film is caught between a rock and a hard place sadly. The story is non-existent and the film doesn’t really do well at explaining what is happening, why and the potential ramifications. For such a pivotal moment in WW2 and British history this one falls short of the mark to me. Would love a Nolan remake of this, Dunkirk is everything this isn’t. However, great practical effects still stand up all these years later, and seeing Michael Caine always brings a smile to my face.

I could quite happily never watch a Marvel film again.

Loved the Wayne’s World references in this!
Terrible film. Villain with zero context to his motives. Super hero film with literally zero super heroes in it other than like a 60 second vision at the end. Script that could’ve been written by an 8 year old on chat gpt. Some of the worst voice dubbing I’ve seen in a film since the 80s. Honestly some of the worst comic book reference shoehorning I have ever seen on a film. Peter…
