  idk why this movie is being marketed as one about girlhood and teenagehood when the story it’s telling is actually about the relationship between a mother and daughter. I didn’t realise this until the last 15 minutes and it wasted my first impression of such a beautiful film.

  Finished watching this at almost 8am after staying up the whole night. Sat there in silence for a minute and then sobbed for 10. This is the kind of movie that you have to watch several times, and it makes you want to come back. I see this movie in things that have no relevance to it.
