Unfortunately The Call of the Wild left me cold. This was not because of the Alaskan scenery or the cinema's air conditioning, but the poverty of the content.
Jack London's book is a classic and a movie made for it should have been much better. Sure the story was sympathetic and the scenery stunning and who wouldn't love an aging Harrison Ford or a clumsy but wise Buck the dog, which, though, was entirely computer generated. However, it wasn't enough. The effect was too weak.
That´s pity. I was expecting more.
