Sweeney! 1977
A feature length episode of the Sweeney, with more nudity and bloodshed!
I never really watched it when it was on telly, I was too young, but everyone knew about it. This felt like a British Polziotteschi, but the gore wasn't quite as good.
I did quite enjoy it, as a slice of 70s British exploitation, but it also dragged a bit in the middle!

Hue and Cry 1947
Early Ealing comedy, might even be the first!
Nice comedy crime caper about a bunch of kids working out that a criminal gang are using a kids comic to communicate!
It's very light and enjoyable, but my favourite thing about these films is seeing London in the past!

Demons 1985
This film alone reinvigorated my love of 80s horror and it's still an absolute belter!
I LOVE the score, the music, the cast, the film within a film, the bonkersness of it all, the gore, oh boy the gore is fantastic, the punks who just turn up, Tony, who channels his inner Mr T (he's actually even better in the second one though), the motorbike and sword combo, the helicopter and the ending, and everything else.
To be honest 80s…
