Very unfortunately didn't work for me: too dense, too confusing, too convoluted, didn't understand a fucking thing, and i can't tell you a single scene I was fully engaged or entertained by. Sure, there's Bogart, sure there's the good cinematography, sure there's an ambition of telling a richly complex noir story that has elements of blackmail, feme fatales, murders, but it all comes to as a boring whole. Meh.

PS: I could tell PTA took from here for inherent vice, not just the insane plotting but even stuff like the detective element, those curtains and all.

We see two bells, one near the bathroom for the employees, and another at the boss' desk, both are meant for controlling the workers by the unempathetic bosses and corporates.

    The workers can't even…

I don't think i like or love Gandhi's ideals, but that doesn't matter, i enjoyed the hell out of this extremely entertaining, very well intentioned comedy.

The songs are so fun, the gandhigiri scenes are the most memorable parts of the film as well!

A third Munna bhai film please?
