watched this once as a kid back then and i hardly remembered anything it felt like nothing but a fever dream and i had a crush on kristofferson 😭 but rewatching as an adult now i finally can say this is a great movie i always really like movies where the selfish male character with no self-awareness eventually grows to be better, acknowledge his mistakes and makes things right (ex: klaus, emperor’s new groove, sinbad, etc)

new addition to man or bear, toxic masculinity violent dad or zombie 😭 dad was definitely scarier than the zombies
this psychological horror had me on the edge of my seat and stressed as hell but anyway yeah truly men are scarier than any monster…. all the actors did amazing though and it was a pretty good movie dealing with a descent to madness and generational trauma, wish there were more zombies though but yeah… isolation and trauma really does make a person sink to their lowest
beautiful movie 🥹 shows the importance of accepting your grief and loss, moving forward and letting new love in your life (in this case letting his new mother into his heart), there’s so much more i want to say but this was truly magical and sentimental and i love all the birds and creatures <3
