A group of ragtag eccentrics with no astronaut experience are sent by NASA into space to blow up an asteroid that threatens to destroy earth, on the grounds that they can drill a hole.
The whole thing felt like an extended simulator ride video from a shitty Universal Studios ride.
The first half feels like an hour long training montage, just stupid people doing stupid things inside the Space Centre, while smart people do smart things on computers using acronyms…

Maxine is such a fabulous character, she is all of us at the end of the day. Love her or hate her, she got the life she deserved in the end. Also loved the fact she did Pearl’s dance as a child in her father’s home video.
