  With my viewing of Punch-Drunk Love a year ago, I have seen two Paul Thomas Anderson movies. In other words I have seen two of my favorite movies. And in yet another words I have seen two of the greatest romances ever written and filmed. Maya Rudolph is the luckiest significant other.

  Best cinema audience I’ve ever been in.  People were screaming at the timer, the woman behind me was shouting “defense” and there was jumping and groaning whenever a ball goes in.  Wish the flashbacks and the big game blended in better though, they always win me by the end but every time a flashback starts and the game pauses the momentum screeches and an involuntary sigh comes out.  Biggest love letter to Slam Dunk fans, and it’s so funny this is the first movie in the first film festival I’ve ever been in.
