Signs 2002
This is a masterpiece in my eyes. Every time I watch this film, I immediately get inspired and my love of filmmaking instantly comes back to me. I love everything about this film, from the characters, dialogue, incredible soundtrack, beautiful cinematography and the suspenseful direction from M Night Shyamalan. You can really feel the care and passion all throughout the runtime and this is a go to example for me on what you can do with a low budget. Easily in my top 5, if not my favourite film of all time for me and one of the most underrated films of all time.

The Fabelmans 2022
This is the exact film I needed right now. A remarkable, captivating story that filled me with so many emotions and Steven Spielberg caused me to cry multiple times. Everyone gives fantastic performances, particularly Gabriel LaBelle as Sammy who I wish was nominated for an Oscar because he truly deserves it. Michelle Williams and Paul Dano also do an excellent job showing the family dynamic and feeling sympathetic towards them.
The cinematography on display is gorgeous as I thought it…

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
A devastating and emotional watch that provides some of the most memorable imagery ever put to screen, that ending had me in pain, David Lynch you're killing me here. Laura Palmer is one of the most tragic characters in fiction, she deserved so much better. Sheryl Lee really captures Laura's pain and trauma incredibly and is such a phenomenol actress. However, not to overlook Ray Wise who I find to be quite underrated, he's terrifying here. Bob will always be in my nightmares from now on...

Mickey 17 2025
It was a privilege to see a new Bong Joon Ho film in an IMAX cinema and I had a blast watching it. This could be my favourite performance Robert Pattinson has given, the accent he does and the clear difference between Mickey 17 and Mickey 18 is brilliant. I'm so annoyed this film isn't doing so well at the box office like... it's Bong Joon fucking Ho what more do you need!? Anyways, go see it if you can because it is a fantastic piece of filmmaking. Also hearing the Wilhelm scream made me so happy, they're still adding that into films :)
