Pretty basic horror film about a seance held on a zoom call. There’s some good scares, and I thought the zoom call perspective to be pretty effective. It also clocks in at just under 60 minutes. It’s not particularly original but I was entertained.

One of the most gut wrenching works of art I’ve seen in quite some time. It’s the kind of thing that makes you just sit in silence while the credits roll. Stephen Graham, Jack Thorne, Philip Barantini, Owen Cooper, all take a bow. Masterful work.

The Russos are bad directors. Like Jesus Christ this is bad. I think their Avengers films are miracles, because everything they have pumped out since has been awful.

This is a genuine pile of garbage. I can’t believe this is one of the most expensive films of all time. It’s everything that is wrong with modern blockbuster filmmaking. Fuck off.

I’ve never been so mad watching a movie. $320 million that could have been spent on so many projects. Ramell…

I found it entertaining for the most part but it’s pretty flawed. There just isn’t a whole lot of tension. It feels like they just went through the Wikipedia summary and hit the plot points. The cinematography is really bizarre as well. Weird camera angles & ugly colour grading.

Tom cruise is very committed though and puts in a good performance. It’s nice to see him play a flawed and mortal person for once.
