The Electric State 2025
This wasn't good.
It had all the right ingredients to be fun.
But it was a confused, mushy mess full of overdone sentiment.
I know it's based on a book, but I didn't get the weird futurist retro 90s time period it was supposed to be in - the characters were very shallow - and the whole vr-drone thing felt like it was a motif so they could spend less on shoot days for certain actors.Translated from by -
Mickey 17 2025
A timely and enjoyable sci-fi with lots of laughs, and some serious punches at the political and religious landscape.
Half a star lost because the voiceover narration got a bit tedious in places - like if you muted it, the story would still make sense and it didn't add anything.Translated from by

Wedding Trough 1974
A part of me really wanted to appreciate this film as a great work of experimental cinema.

Nosferatu 2024
Another Eggers Goodun'.
Lots of atmosphere and throwbacks to original film.
Some great performances.
Aaron Taylor Johnson though needs to calm down his RP, that was way too much ham.
1 star lost for the Robotnik Moustache on Count Orlock.
Willem Dafoe popping a bottle and yelling "SCHNAPPS!?" was a highlight for me. Perfect comic timing. Tickled me in all darkness.Translated from by
