for a modern horror movie, this was actually really good. normally i find older horror movies more appealing to watch but the story and acting in this film reeled me in. james mcavoy perfected the role as a conservative manly man with secrets hidden within. the rest of the cast was a bit mediocre. not necessarily the acting but the characters were god awful and kind of annoying. mainly the blonde wife. i hope the real actress is nothing like that in the real world because good lord she’s insufferable! anywho, one of my favorite movies i’ve seen in theaters! would recommend
