The sequel adds on to the themes of where one belongs and adds a bit of far fetched humour. But the heart still is at the right place as the narrative makes you feel and care for the cgi bear more than you thought.
A strong sequel to up the level of the adventures of this marmalade loving bear.

The beauty of a heartfelt cinema for a younger tangent which explores themes which might hit you even if you don't fit the target audience.
Movies like these take you back to the happiest of days when all you want to do while watching a film is smile.

While reviewing a movie or just analysing it we don’t usually factor in the era it was released in or how the world was when the movie was made.
But that is a very important aspect of it. This post world war era movie which is hailed as one of the greats portrays with full honesty on how the life was back then. How a mere cycle can lead a person’s moral dwindle.
The beautiful cinematography, the heartfelt performances and the beautiful score works in sync to make the movie’s runtime feel like a time machine. I appreciate it more on the rewatch.

A simple and poignant ode to the long lost Hindi Cinema. The power packed performances and the beautiful yet simple dialogues shape up this tale of brotherhood and love for cinema. The why of making films is explored beautifully calling out remakes while narrating a story about remakes.
I feel if only a few more seconds or minutes were given for the pivotal moments and emotions to stay between the characters rather than using the score to force out emotions or be in a rush to jump back on narrative, it could have benefited with the authentic emotional punch.
