Romeo + Juliet 1996
I have watched this so many times as it’s just one of the greats. Easily in my top 5 & was the first movie I really appreciated as a teenager. I fell in love with Leo and Claire Danes, the soundtrack, I found my favourite song of all time by Radiohead which was made for this film. Baz Luhrmanns style of filming greatly added to the dramatic theatrics of Shakespeare & intertwined modern culture to make this classic, new age. Its momentous.

Frida 2002
One of my top 5 movies that has left a mark on my life. Fridays story of resilience and her passion for living, even amidst chronic pain and tragedy, I have always found admirable. She was a pioneer for female artists in such a male dominated period. The film itself stands the test of time, is well acted and visually captivating. I’ll always return to this one.

Dune: Part Two 2024
It’s a movie I will struggle to watch a second time as it was so good when I first experienced it, I don’t know if I will ever be fortunate enough to get that feeling back again.
