  You can’t wake up if you don’t fall asleep. Also, you can’t dance to a cowboy song about aliens if you don’t just lean all the way in. I was there for all of it. I have never seen desert twilight look exactly like desert twilight and FEEL like desert twilight in a film so perfectly before. I was there in Asteroid City, but I was also watching the play. Perfection in sets and camera work. Stylized and perfect. Pristine. Perfectly acted. The three witches stole the show. I can’t stop smiling.

  Just so so beautiful! An homage to the original but also a shining stand alone. I only want to see Bill Nighy. I want to make him proud of me. I hope he will smile sideways when I say something smart or funny. Aimee Lou Wood shimmers. London of the 1950s is a character itself. So are suits and hats. And please what are you doing with your one wild and precious life? Beautiful.

  I wanted less music, more Ryan + Will banter. More Tracy Morgan. But I thought the plot twists were really smart and interesting. It will not likely be a Christmas classic for me.

  Almost completely perfect. Time travel, dads who just want to hang out, awkwardness, finding your way, watching movies in your gravel driveway … so many of my favorite things. You will be a better human if you watch this.
