these ones always hit harder than they should. i don’t think they ever won’t. a rather excellent retelling in my humble opinion though (a rather compelling stab in the gut as well…); similar to my sisters keeper, but mayhaps a little closer to the common human teenage experience.
how can we know what’s right if we aren’t the ones living it? who’s to say!
