  such a visually beautiful film. It was shot in such a way that you truly felt like you were there in Greece with them.

  Their relationship was so real, and shows the difficulties in navigating such complex situations and the abundance of emotions that come with it. 

  Hawke was great, and played a very likeable role. Her character ruined it for me with how much she pissed me off. But all in all, a beautiful slow burner of a film.

  I am at a loss for words for this film. Every single thing about this just left you both truly harrowed by raw humanity, and also clouded with this overarching beauty. 

  Garfield as Desmond Doss was exceptional, and as for watching Casey Affleck’s acting in MbyS (he was amazing), I cannot comprehend how Garfield’s performance did not win him that Academy Award for Best Leading Actor in the 2017 class. 

  This film is nothing short of perfection. A must watch, and a real eye-opener.

  One of the better horror films. Big fan of the acting and cinematography on this film. 

  First half was great. Second half not so much a fan. The way it turned supernatural wasn’t for me. I would have preferred for it to stay centralised on Cage as the serial killer, rather than devil-possessed dolls
