  I think there’s a much better movie underneath, but I didn’t hate what I got. MGK does pretty good, and it looks amazing, I just think in more capable hands (when it comes to direction and storytelling) it might’ve been more scathing and emotive. 

  TLDR; maybe just go watch A Star is Born instead
