A really enjoyable, funny, action packed, stunt fiesta. Although small parts are quite predictable, the sheer chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, mixed with the immensely impressive stunt scenes, allows you to just sit back and enjoy. Brilliant choreography, special / practical effects and cinematography make for a film well worth watching. Edge of your seat ridiculousness.

Really didn’t know what to expect when sitting down to watch this film. Something set during the war, an old man, maybe some revenge or struggle? Well I wasn’t wrong but I definitely did not expect this. Best way to describe it, John Wick in an old Nordic man’s body, in the baron wasteland of Finland, during the final stages of the Second World War. You’ve got Nazis, extreme violence (against the Nazis), one man army, revenge, ridiculously unrealistic bouts…

Incredibly bizarre and quirky. Sam Rockwell kills as ever and of course slips his dance moves in. A talented cast, ridiculous premise but somehow just works. You’re not taken on any particular journey other than being mesmerised by just how strange the characters are with a slight weird “force” element thrown in for good measure. However, most the characters are entertaining and loveable. Certainly worth a watch if you want something with a mix of action, comedy, romance and very unusual (and some unhinged) people.
Incredible film that is a must watch for any lover of cinema. An amazing story told over decades of a life.
