Ate some chili, giggled and was gagged amongst the brodies. IMAX nearly took my eardrums out, but I was thoroughly entertained. Plus, enjoyed the brief moments of humor amidst chaos, that’s life lowkey.

Dreams in Nightmares 2024
Watched this at the 2024 Blackstar film fest and was absolutely moved. I went from laughing to crying so seamlessly, the tenderness in the characters was so real. Several shots brought Loosing Ground and Daughters of the Dust to mind. Yet all in all, this is definitely a healing watch to just see queer Black dark skin representation/performed in so many nuances. Definitely, gonna get this on dvd asap. I wish to return to this to write about forms of love/care work, the dining moments and water scene stick in my memory. New fav hands down <3
