It's pretty faithful to the book and I think that's why it is really enjoyable to watch.
The way Therese's world changes from one to another, how Carol drives her both literaly and metaphorically to a place confortable to be herself...
It is very interesting to see a happy ending in this love story since the book was made in a time when being homosexual was not easy at all.

The only thing I don't like is the title and that mostly the end of the film it's kind of an add to become vegan. But the rest of it is very shocking and well done.
Most people have no idea of what they eat and this helps you understand how fucked up you are if you don't worry about it.
