Nosferatu 2024
I tip my hat doth thou, there’s a vampire AND accomplice on the loose. They are not to be meddled with and should not be approached. Really enjoyed this film, Willem Dofoe is always good value. Just got to watch The Northman of Edgar’s films now, he is proving to be a very consistent craftsman. WARNING, Count airlock is also a massive heart throb.

The Brutalist 2024
The last time I caught a movie with an intermission I was 7 years old. That day it was King Kong and 20 years later today it was The Brutalist. Kong earned its giant runtime but this simply did not. Wonderfully shot and successfully acted, but that really could not make up for how dull it was. Next time I will watch Grand Designs.

Will someone explain to me why this pile of garbage is considered a classic?! I sat down with 2 friends the other day, thoroughly excited for a night in with a young, strapping Jake Gyllenhaal (buff much). What I got was some big lanky bunny rabbit trying to reinvent Easter (eerrrmmm haven’t you heard of Halloween duurr brain) and concerningly amateur facial expression from Gyllenhaal which begged the question, is he possessed? Or just mad his mom didn’t bring home…
