Despite all the offensive words, it is a nicely inoffensive movie. A bit too often it Shows off ots Moral superiority over it's own characters, but in the end it has a strong emotional core. I loved its over the top style and cartoonish character depictions. And I will never get over Olivia Colman screaming "Cunt"!
Goes down well with a cup of tea.
Considering that a sudden day fall usually takes a few seconds l, I was curious about how they would manage to turn this premise into a feature length disaster movie. And as it turns out they didn't.
The only thing that differentiated this silly, silly movie from the regular "The Asylum" fare was its budget.
My favourite moment: A little boy on his toy excavator slowly submerging into a sandbox while screaming for help.
A bold sweetly insuktungmovue, but it kinda starts spinning in circles towards the end.
